The Lewis and Gaines Center for Inclusion and Equity is fully committed to creating opportunities that support persistence, retention and graduation of our students. Key resources include:

Emergency Resources for Students

At Bridgewater State University, we understand the impact that stressors outside of the classroom can have on student success. We also understand the significant cost of higher education and the overall impact attending college can have on student availability to work and cover the basics.

Academic Achievement Center

The AAC is the largest hub of student academic services on campus. Located  on the ground floor of the Maxwell Library in the center of the BSU Campus, the Academic Achievement Center is a vibrant environment at the heart of the BSU academic community. The Center offers a comprehensive array of programs and services to support the continued academic success of Bridgewater State University students.

Ambassador Corps

As a department, we recognize the significance of creating awareness about the various resources and opportunities offered by the university at large to inform the success of our student body. This group of dedicated undergraduates host monthly events to foster camaraderie and create relationships between their peers and faculty and staff. They may be accessed by visiting the LGCIE, Monday through Friday during office hours.
